Dial-up service
Yes, we still offer dial-up internet.
You will not be happy with it, but you can get online. This is truly the internet option of last resort.
The actual speeds are normally within 24kbits to 48kbits, depending on the phone line quality at your location. We do not control the phone line quality, so you will get the speed your lines will handle.
Dial-up is just enough to get your email, and maybe search for something using a search engine. It will not work for e-commerce, major news outlets, or social media. The internet has evolved to the point that most do not believe dial-up exist any more so they do not design their sites for it.
You will need the following to even attempt to use dial-up:
- A good quality, old-fashioned, copper based, phone line.
- A dial-up modem, preferably hardware based (not a win-modem)
